BankAccount

Definition

A BankAccount is a regular bank account used to receive and transfer Cash.

Statement

Definition

Each InvestorAccount has a list of Statements linked to it. In such a Statement is specified what the ~Account~’s opening and closing balances were on a specific date and the difference between these two balances.

Entry

Definition

The difference between the opening and closing balance in a Statement is composed by a list of Entries. Each of these Entries represents a transaction with a certain value that occurred on the day of the corresponding Statement.

TransactionType

Definition

Every Entry has its own TransactionType. This is either ‘Regular’, ‘AccruedBenefits’ or ‘Refund’. For filtering purposes, refunds have their own TransactionType.

AccruedBenefits are built up financial positions from the past. A ~Transaction~ is of type ‘AccruedBenefits’ when an Investor transfers funds from a different Label to the current Label. E.g. when an individual switches pensionfunds.

CamtFile

Definition

A CAMT.053 (Cash Management) file is a bank to customer statement, providing the customer with a prior or previous day overview of transactions. GiroPro uses CAMT.053 files to obtain information on the transferal of money to InvestorAccounts. After this information has been extracted, the Cash balance in the corresponding ~Account~ is altered accordingly and/or Orders are created. When allocating a CAMT transaction amount, the rules are used:

  • Is the source BankAccount connected to the InvestorAccount?
  • Is the transaction amount between the minimum and maximum allowed transaction amount?
  • Does the description of the CAMT file contain one and only one investor account number? If not, do not allocate.
  • In which Asset does the transaction amount have to be invested? The CAMT file description can mention multiple Asset identifiers such as the Asset’s name, the ISIN code, an external code (a PF code) or a banking statement code.
