An Investment Obligation is an automated, rule-driven commitment to regularly invest a fixed amount, with full tracking, arrear handling, and configurable collection behaviour.
An Investment Obligation is a contractual or legal requirement for an Investor to deposit a predefined amount of money into their Investor Account at regular, configured intervals (e.g., weekly or monthly).
It ensures that funds are consistently invested according to agreed rules. The system automatically collects the obligated amount, handles failed or reversed collections, tracks Investment Arrears (missed deposits) and Payment Arrears (negative cash balances after investments), and supports Reimbursements—retrying failed collections within configurable limits.
