User
Definition
A User is a natural person (a human) who can access GiroPro. This also includes back-office employees/operators who are not investing themselves. A User is connected to one Organization.

Investor
Definition
An Investor is either a LegalEntity (a company) or an IndividualHolder (a natural person) that can invest through one specific Label. When an Investor is an IndividualHolder, the Investor is linked to a User. When an Investor is a LegalEntity, multiple Users can act as a representative for that Investor through UserInvestorRoles.

UserInvestorRole
Definition
An Investor can have one or more Users linked to them, where each linked User has one or more UserInvestorRoles. For one Investor, these roles can be either roles from the LegalEntityRoles collection or roles from the IndividualHolderRoles collection depending on the type of Investor.
The following LegalEntityRoles exist:
- Authorized Representative
- Asset Manager
- UBO Beneficiary of the Assets
- UBO Entitled to the Assets
- UBO Entitled to Vote
- UBO Holder of Effective Control
- Contact Person
- Administrator
- Advisor
The following IndividualHolderRoles exist:
- Owner (there may be only one, so this is the IndividualHolder itself)
- Guardian
- Asset Manager
- Contact Person
- Administrator
- Advisor
PoliticallyExposedPerson
Definition
A User can be classified as a PoliticallyExposedPerson if they are for example a politician. This is registered purely for administrative purposes for the KYC and CDD processes.
